Simon Napier-Bell is an English record producer, music manager, author and journalist. At different times in his storied career, he has managed artists as diverse as The Yardbirds, Marc Bolan, Japan, Sinead O’Connor, Ultravox, Boney M, Sinitta, George Michael & Andrew Ridgeley & WHAM – brilliantly taking them to become the first Western artists to perform in China – Blue Mercedes, & Candi Staton amongst others. Napier-Bell has written two successful volumes of music history focusing on the history of the music industry since the 18th century. He has also written two great memoirs about his own experiences in the music industry. A true original & professional artist manager, Simon travels the world perfecting how to enhance the "star-making machinery" and developing global opportunities for the talent he manages.
